"Rule-of-Thirds"
The Rule-of-Thirds states that for compositional purposes (composing a photographic image) the picture frame is split into thirds horizontally and vertically, imagine straight lines running vertically and horizontally across the picture frame. The main focus of the photo will be located where the horizontal and vertical lines intersect. The main center-of-interest or focus in this photo is in the upper right hand corner of the photo.

The main subject or center-of-interest will be located where horizontal and vertical lines intersect. The main center-of-interest in this photo is in the lower right hand corner. You will notice that this is where the greater intensity of green in the leaf is as well as focus on rain drops and my eye is drawn to the oval hole in the leaf.
